Foil Banding - Peripheral Hot Stamping

For years, we have served the cosmetic / personal care industry with our high speed screen printing, high speed pressure sensitive labeling, vertical hot stamping, single color pad printing, and multicolor pad printing capabilities. Reacting to the needs of these customers in the cosmetic / personal care industry, Unique has added another decorating process to our long list of product decorating capabilities – foil banding for caps, closures, collars, and dispenser shrouds.
While the foil banding process is simple, this type of hot stamping has many names – hot stamp foil banding, peripheral hot stamping, peripheral foil banding, and peripheral banding to name a few. For this peripheral hot stamping process, we have automatic hot stamping equipment that enables us to apply a 1/8” wide foil band (typically silver or gold reflective foil) 360 degrees around the perimeter of virtually any shaped plastic cap, closure, collar, and dispenser shroud. Meaning, this peripheral banding equipment can hot stamp a foil band around square, round, or oval shaped parts.
With this automatic hot stamp foil banding equipment, these parts can be banded 360 degrees in one machine cycle at extremely high rates for low cost decorating.
