Hot Stamping Examples
|
Hot stamping can be a cost-effective way to decorate parts. Plastic, leather, textiles, wood, and paper can all be decorated using the hot stamping method. While advancements are being made in screen printing inks and pad printing inks, hot stamping is still the best decorating process to apply reflective metallic images. Holographic images can also be achieved by hot stamping. In addition, hot stamped colored foils create a high gloss image that can be difficult to achieve with pad printing and screen printing. Our hot stamping machines are also equipped with heat transfer decal capabilities. Meaning, using the hot stamping process, we are capable of applying heat transfer decals (screen printed, gravure printed, or digitally printed images) to most any plastic, leather, textiles, or wooden product.
As shown with the small plastic stop signs and dashboard housings in the adjacent pictures, hot stamping is also the process used to decorate raised areas and raised lettering – also referred to as tipping.
