Pad Printing Examples

At Unique, we have a variety of pad printing equipment to decorate almost any three-dimensional plastic, glass, or metal object, including: single color pad printers (open well and sealed cup), multicolor pad printers capable of pad printing up to five color spot image, four color process images, and five color process images (four color process images with a white flash when printing on colored substrates). Also, we have invested in automation that can be linked to any of the above pad printing equipment to increase production thus decreasing the printing cost for high volume pad printing projects.
Given the image size, we pad print Scott lenses using a three set-up process. The red and white portions of the image are double hit pad printed in separate one color pad printers. Then, the black portion of the image is quadruple hit pad printed in order to eliminate pin holes and to achieve the necessary ink opacity.
Seen below, both panels are pad printed with multiple set-ups. The Cummins Jet Scan panel is pad printed using a combination of single color pad printing equipment. Stryker Panel is pad printed using a combination of multicolor pad printing equipment and single color pad printing equipment.
