Although our assembly department often works independentlyofthe plastic printing department, this keychain project is a perfect example of the two departments working together. The custom imprinted logos on these key chains are also good examples of the fine detail pad printing possible on small printing surfaces.
Often we receive these key chains unassembled. After decorating the body, we assemble the key chain. This added service of our plastic assembly department allows our customer to offer custom orders to their buyers (e.g. a blue body with white ends) with minimal added cost.
The print surface on this ABS part is just 1/2 " x 1". Only pad transfer printing provides the ability to print on that small surface area with such fine detail. We are capable of printing up to 5-color spot art and 4-color process logo on this product.
